EMDR Therapy
E.M.D.R. (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful psychotherapeutic technique used to process trauma and acute stress.
Traumatic experiences can stem from sudden, severe events (such as accidents, bereavement, or violence) or from ongoing or past experiences (neglect, humiliation, physical or emotional abuse).
EMDR works through bilateral stimulation of the brain, typically via eye movements, but also through gentle tapping or auditory cues like music and sounds. This alternating stimulation strengthens communication between brain hemispheres, helping your mind reprocess and integrate memories.
The result is a gentle desensitization of painful or traumatic memories, allowing relief and emotional balance.

How My Therapy Works
We start with a free discovery session, by phone or online, to clarify your willingness to work together.
The first therapy session, in Bremen or online, includes a detailed assessment and determination of therapy priorities. At this point, we can estimate the time frame, but you decide how long and how often you wish to attend.
We identify negative experiences or patterns currently affecting you. The therapy method best suited to your situation is then applied.
Once the distressing events and associated emotions are balanced, we focus on strengthening your awareness through positive emotions. Modern therapeutic approaches emphasize not only processing disturbing situations and memories but also recognizing successful and meaningful experiences—what I call “resource activation.”
In addition to my native language Italian, I offer therapy in English, French and German, all spoken fluently.

Born and raised in Italy, I moved to Bremen for professional reasons after my studies. I have lived here for over 20 years. My multilingual and intercultural background allow me to conduct therapy and coaching in English, Italian, French and German.

The wingwave method enables rapid stress reduction, improved creativity, and better conflict stability. For my effective use of this coaching method, I received an award in 2021.
In therapy sessions, I occasionally integrate elements of this method, particularly for anxiety and performance stress. Wingwave ultimately originated over 20 years ago as EMDR in coaching.
